QLD--Camera Repairs... Know a good one??
I have come in possession of my late grandfathers camera. It's a 1962 Pentax SV SLR with 2 lens, light guard, light meter and the leather carry cases to carry them. Picture acttached There is also a telescopic lens that was bought somewhere along the way as well.
Well I chucked in a roll of film and low and behold it's stilll takes great pictures except for the shudder gets stuck open on it's return by about 3 mm.
I looked and noticed the shudder has got a crease in it :-(. I'd love to get this camera fixed but I took it to the local camera shop who rang pentax and they said there is no spare parts for it.
So i am asking IIS do they any good camera places , like a family business thats been around for years , where I could take it them and see what they say.
