There’s no point beefing up the mount if the tripod it sits on is the weakest point.
I wonder about their mechanical “engineering” as with mine it was quite obvious the weakest point (ie where the flexure was) was their tripod. Replaced that with a Berlebach Planet, which made a huge improvement.
