Saturn and Jupiter, 25th July

Some nice conditions on the 25th for views of Jupiter and Saturn.

I got a touch experimental for a look down on Saturn, taking advantage of WinJupos' mapping functions. Near opposition, it's possible to quite faithfully reproject to the polar view. I needed to take a liberty and paste in a piece of the faint C Ring otherwise lost in the glare in front of Saturn, and I've cleaned up the terminator on Saturn for edge effects; otherwise the data is real, just reprojected. But I like the view from above, with round rings, the Hexagon and the curved shadow on the rings. Unfortunately its obviously not possible to see the Ringshine that brightly illuminates Saturn's northern night side when the rings are wide open like this!
