It's one of the first DV Camcorders. Capturing to tape.
I just held the camera up to a 12.5mm eyepiece, zoomed in using the cameras optical zoom, focused then started recording.
It's a bit tricky to start with, but after a bit of practice it becomes a lot easier.
I can't see why you can't use an analogue camera. Steve Massey used one to capture some terrific images.
Chrisyo, an IIS member has taken some of the best Afocal images of Saturn I've ever seen.
