The Luminance will only show black and white no matter what filter you put in it.
It is all controlled by the program that processes the separate channels.
That is why you have to put in the right order of the filters in the program.
If you have in your filter wheel LRGB and you point the program to RGBL
Then it will become a nice mess as i have found out once or twice
