Mmmmm? I wonder
Howdy!
I have had an improvement in the general roundness of my stars since using an EQ6, however I still notice that I have stars on one side of the image that are quite round and that are starting to elongate on the other. I use a DSI Pro 2 so the image area is quite small. To this end I don't think its coma. Could it be that the focuser is worn and sags, the camera snout is not in the focuser tube properly or the chip is not straight in the camera?
I'm gonna try to get out tonight and have a play. Was going to try my old DSI1 Colour and/or my 40d. The trouble with the 40d is that any length of exposure over about 60 secs gives me a whited out screen, with a faint hint of my object underneath.
