Thanks for replying
I’ve been using the same calibration for 12 months with both my rigs which have same guide cameras but different guide scopes ( different focal length ) and imaging at 2 different locations. This hasn’t affected calibration or locking in on a good guide star
I think I will start from scratch with the new guide scope in Sydney and create new darks and bad pixel map and then a fresh calibration which will be auto saved
PHD2 is certainly a tremendous and intuitive piece of software for guiding and if you follow procedures it works flawlessly, it just works
I see so many posts on different forums where imagers have trouble getting it started and using it but if you follow the specs and manual thoroughly it really is “Push Here Dummy”
I haven’t had any issue in 3 years apart from some bad guiding nights caused mainly by the mount , atmospheric conditions or wind
Cheers
