With my ASI1600 at Gain 76 I had a read noise of ~2.1e- and 12-bit of dynamic range.
By Gain 139 (unity) I was getting ~1.59e- and I cannot remember the bit depth.
With my QHY163M at Gain 80 I get 1.9e- and 12-bit dynamic range.
At Gain 140 I get about 1.55e- and cannot remember the dynamic range.
I don't often bother about calculating the dark current personally.
