Thanks for the links Paul, will check them out at some stage, not tonight as just arrived back from Melb (it's 11-30pm) where we attended my step daughters graduation (Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at Swinburne Uni), sorry just me boasting a bit!
Les, glad you liked. NGC 2613 is definately a target worthy of more investigation, would love to get it under a really dark sky. Not easy with a dob as it was very near the zenith.
NGC 5986 was still fairly low when I observed it. There was some mottling but I wouldn't go as far as to say I resolved any stars. Only used 115x, I will put it in my follow up list to have another look once it is a bit higher and/or I have a decent higher power EP!
Orestis, not really getting many clear nights, just had a bit of luck with 2 reasonable ones. The DSE is doing a lot of burning so some clear nights are being ruined anyway with smoke etc.
