That's a great shot... as an FYI, my mother is from Peru and I grew up there in the 70's.


I remember taking a trip to "El Huascarán" and to the town of Yungay. Great area for hiking and chilling out. What I remmeber most is that in the town you can only see the church steeple and palm trees as the rest of the town was buried. Interesting folktale is that the only people to survive completely uninjured were those in the cemetary... which sits on a hill just outside of town.
