8300 microlens effect

I prefer as round a star as I can get and thus use a refractor to help prevent diffraction spikes from appearing on brighter stars. I'm considering purchasing an 8300 camera, However this chip does show a slight starburst effect on brighter stars due to the chip's microlenses.

Does this little starburst effect on brighter stars appear the same on FLI, QSI and SBIG 8300 cameras? Or are some cameras better than others in minimizing this effect? Is there a simple way to process this out? Thanks! Rick
