Liquid Gold
Taken earlier this week while waiting on the verandah for a dramatic red sunset that never showed up. The bright sun that did make an appearance was deliberately hidden behind my shoes, and at least it did provide a nice golden glow.
Is an "action" shot or a relaxed "inaction" shot though?
There was certainly some vigorous swallowing action going on before, during and after... And of course there is some properly energetic action going on there too... if you look carefully up near the top there's bird flying home to roost.
