So will that LT70 Celestron be too big as a Spotter Scope -- have no Eyepieces as yet ?? The homemade spotter has a focal length of around 10 inches, so do think it is not worth keeping that Cardboard spotter Scope.
think it will not be hard to mount that Celestron LT 70. Saw a base it will slide into on E-bay for under $10 from China.
Existing Spotter is on an adjustable homemade frame. And think that base from China would bolt to it.This is similar to the one I found for under $10.
