Thanks for the report, wanted to watch and or image the transit earlier but the pyromaniacs, in their wisdom, deemed it was a great day for hazard reduction burning. Although many kilometres away , the atmosphere was thick with smoke which completely ruined the transparency and seeing. Not happy.
Have captured several transits during the last few months and am looking forward to August 13 when there will be a dual shadow transit, Io and Europa.
