Using a Philips TouCam Pro II 840k

I just got the above camera and want to use it for astrophotography. My scope is a Bintel BT252, and I have a laptop that I will use in conjunction with the scope and cam.

I have two questions which I hope can be answered on here:

1) Should I be placing the cam against an eyepiece, or should it be placed "instead of" an eyepiece, in the focuser, when taking pix outside?

2) What's the best way to get the cam attached to the focuser? I seem to remember Mike advising how to do this in an earlier post, but I can't find it. I want to be able to get pix/vids without shaking the camera.

Can someone advise me on this?

Thx!
