Large regional dust storm on Mars, spilling into Valles Marineris

Well this storm is getting interesting..

The more well defined western side is spilling like fog into Valles Marineris, showing up canyons that we otherwise can't see! There are very bright concentrations of dust in Aurorae Chaos and Ganges Chasma, and a finger of dust extending through to Coprates Chasma. The western canyons, Candor and Ius Chasma look dark as they normally do.

Further north I think the dust has gone through the Kasei Valles and round to Lunae Planum as well. Many of the usual albedo features are hidden (some of Acidalia Planitia, western Sinus Meridani, Pyhrrae Regio). Some texture in the dust cloud is visible in R & IR channels.

Interesting times, it's a big storm now
