I'm actually pretty impressed with the result of 180x30s subs from a sky where you can only see a handful of stars - a few kms from the Brisbane CBD.

That is a great shot. Fighting bad light pollution is not easy, but thanks to digital technology and modern processing, we are not dead in the water yet.
