[stanlite (Grady)]

In prepareing to get myself a christmas/birthday present in the summer i am looking at getting a CCD. Just wondering some things. Which is the way to go Mono or OSC. QHY or ATIK i am looking at spending at or under 2000 (thank god for the australian dollars high point and the cheaper astro stuff in the US and Europe). I have found a QHY9 OSC for US1499 and a mono ATIK 314L + for 1095 GBP which works out at around the same price in Aussie dollars. Which would be the better way to go? a bit confused i know that the QHY has a bigger sensor size but mono offers greater contrast. help please is greatly appreciated.
