Canon Lens question
Am off to kangaroo island next weekend and will be taking the 60da for a spot of wide field. The only canon lens I own is a nifty 50 as for daytime this is a Nikon household.
now then, my good lady is renting a 50 to 500 sigma from lens pimp for the trip ( nature freak)and we thought its probably worth me renting something for the Canon to save lugging my 2 cameras around.
my favourite Nikon lens is an 18 to 200 F3.5 Gii ED as its really flexible and has the whole VR thing.
I Have until tomorrow to identify which lens I want as it needs to be ordered in for pick up on Tuesday so for those daytime photographers out there, given the opportunity, what Canon lens would you recommend that would give me similar flexibility and high quality results? If its good n fast for astro that would be a huge plus as the last time I used the nifty I was running on f6.2 to eliminate comma. Worked fine, just not very fast.
