Troy-I want something that I can use for portrait photography,I have been reading lots of books about it lately-and the authors all say,to get that flash off camera.
The books show a few small images of the 'flip'style ones you mention Troy.
The secondary interest for various flash brackets is for macro work,something
like Dennis has made up,going by his results,would be very handy.
Interested in hearing how you Christmas experiment goes with new equipment Troy.
I have some funding that has become available from earnings from a photograph I took this year,so do not mind spending a fair amount of money on these things.I feel the items would get a lot more use than astronomy gear-my interest is wanning in that area of photography.
