And finally...some obs!

After nearly a month of cloud, finally a couple of nights out under the stars.

Just a preliminary list but on Monday night and Wednesday night I managed

NGC 6416 OC in Scorpius
NGC 6425 OC in Scorpius
NGC 6451 OC in Scorpius
NGC 6480 OC in Scorpius (described as a star cloud in Uranometria)
NGC 6522 GC in Sagittarius
NGC 6528 GC in Sagittarius
NGC 6153 PN in Scorpius
NGC 6192 OC in Scorpius
IC 1297 PN in Scorpius
NGC 5363 GX in Virgo
NGC 5364 GX in Virgo
NGC 5746 GX in Virgo
NGC 5566 GX in Virgo
NGC 5560 GX in Virgo
NGC 5576 GX in Virgo
NGC 5574 GX in Virgo
NGC 5634 GC in Virgo (and yes that is the one and only Glob in Virgo!)
NGC 6716 GC in Sagittarius

So a couple of good sessions with a nice mix of objects. On Monday night the seeing and trans were as good as it gets down here. Omega Cent was stunning, you could pick up all these dark patches around the tail of Scorpius, M4 normally is not that exciting, but looked amazing at the zenith.

Hope to have a detailed report up soon!

Malcolm
