. Sounds like you might want to look at the mak newt from orion. These have a much faster F ratio and will give you the best of both worlds. Not sure about the F ratio's on the Intes micro's but I have seen some great pics from these scopes. Visually well made maks are stunning to look through, probably my all time favourite in fact but I have tried to image through one at F15 and would have been better off slamming my head in a door, that way I would have definately seen stars
