A tale of two scopes in Orion

As it is cloudy , here are three DSS stacks of Orion from two scopes from late last year on a standard DSLR with a few darks and a flat.

One an 800 refractor with a 6.5 reducer at iso800 , a few short but slightly longer shots. One an old C8 with an 0.63 reducer at iso400 lots of short exposures, and one combining all in DSS with just a little saturation stretch and no other processing.

Sorry about the cropping.

Each interesting in their own way.

Which to spend a few hours on or go out and repeat with more time.? The 400iso always seems to look better on this camera with an SCT but the refractor shots have the inky black and colour.
