Another image to indicate the potential for high sensitivity imaging with short subs and no guiding, made possible by low noise sensors. This is 1187 x 5sec subs with a Sony IMX264 sensor (Point Grey Chameleon 3) and a Astronomik L filter. Gain of 15db. Scope was a 80mm f6 achromat, mount was a HEQ5. Captured with Firecapture, stacked in Autostakkert, followed by a histogram stretch and quick curve adjustment in Pixinsight. This camera does not (currently) have cooling. Sensor temp of approx 27C throughout the capture
