I purchased a 8" Orion Intelliscope Dob a few weeks ago and have been exploring the night sky from my backyard, which I'm loving. But as we have a big hill on one side and lots of trees on the other side of us I find that a lot objects that I want to view are hidden
Are there "well known" locations (parks, etc) around Brisbane/Ipswich which are ideal for astronomy?
