Thanks Jase,
I have seen Gary Honis and Terry Lovejoys pages quiet a few times,
I don`t want to operate on the camera again and just through the tripod adaptor seems a rather poor way to cool the cmos..
I`m thinking of a 2" telescope adaptor with a cold finger inside consisting of a copper tube insert just infront of the t thread adaptor. Totally sealed with the front end having a clear filter warmed by resistors on the outside to stop dew forming. Hopefully the air inside will get down close to 0 c which should cool the cmos during exposures while the shutter is open. Not sure how well it will work as the ir/uv filter sits over the cmos and how much cool air can flow into the camera?. But will give it a go and if no good will go with Terrys setup. At least will drop the noise by 20%..
Good for those hot summers nights..
Cheers Gary
