Canon EF 70 - 200 f2.8L IS USM Zoom lens
I've fitted this lens to my QSI683ws and ask is there any way to reduce the aperture from the (apparently) fixed 2.8 to, say, 4.5 or so? I think I read somewhere that mounting it on a Canon camera, taking a long exposure at f 4.5 and removing the lens while the exposure is underway will leave the lens set at 4.5! Seems very dodgy to me so I thought I would ask the experts here.
