I saw about 20 over a 2.5 hour period between 3:45 and 6:15am yesterday. Probably missed some as I went in to get my little Tele Vue 60 and then looked at Neptune and Venus The meteors are very swift but many left long trails that lingered for a half second or so. Whilst looking for Neptune I recognised a star pattern from when I was observing and photographing Comet Halley in 1986.

I went in after seeing Mercury just clearing my local horizon and dawn breaking. The entire time I was outside I had a song from the late 60's stuck in my head, the one with the line "This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius". (By the 5th Dimension). Oh let the sunshine!
