Hi Rick. You're right it's definitely not a Goto mount or there wouldn't have been any point installing the Argo Navis. So I knew it would be slow. I just didn't realise it would be that slow on 16x. I hadn't mounted the scope yet and sure enough I saw the movement through the eyepiece once I did.
Just for the record it is an HEQ5. I've attached a photo of the badge. Thank you kindly for pointing me in the right direction, in more ways than 1! I'm hoping for some clear skies in the early hours tomorrow. Cheers, Michael
