If it's under $1000 you could buy from an online seller, I've used HKBNS and Citiwide (both ebay Sellers) and found them both to be very good. I also use
DigiDirect who are an Australian online seller, they sell genuine Canon Australia product at prices very close to OS online sellers. Digi-Direct also have a Sydney Shop front and also happen to answer the phone when you call, unlike a good many online sellers.
