Depending on what you want to do with the ToUcam, no mods are required!

Unscrew the lens, screw in the 1.25" adapter. That's it - if you only plan to use it for planetary/lunar imaging.

If you want to do deep-space imaging with it, then you'll need to get it "modded" so that you can do long exposures with it. Check out ballaratdragons threads in the deep space forum to see what can be done with it.

Other mods? Not really. Some people have replaced it with a more sensitive monochrome chip. I don't think it's worth it though. As an upgrade from the ToUcam, you're next step is the DBK/DMK21AU04.
