Hi Vars

In Michael Covington’s book “Astrophotography for the Amateur” he has the following details for a 35mm SLR film camera with a lens of focal length 24mm:

Declination 00 : 40 secs
Declination 30 : 50 secs
Declination 40 : 60 secs
Declination 60 : 85 secs
Declination 75 : 160 secs

He also writes that you should expose for 1/3 less than the above suggested times for really sharp images.
