Hi Trevor, It's all pretty simple really. Just process as normal including the debayer. No need to split the channels as the only light captured is that which made it';s way through the filter anyhow.
Using photoshop, select image, mode and select mono/black and white..The other alternative is to just desaturate the image back to grey scale.
The QHY8 works very well for Ha capture.
