That's still a pretty good image for a 7 inch Graeme . I know what you mean with Mars, it's such a shame that one of the biggest dust storms also coincided with one of this planets best approaches to earth. I was well prepared to achieve some great shots this apparition compared to 15 years ago but I have not been given the opportunity to take advantage of it. Like you said, let's hope the dust settles so at least we get something worth photographing.
