My first deep sky runs on the board, even if it is just a short sharp single
Piggy backed the Canon 40D with Sigma 17-70 lens set at 70mm and F5.6 with 200ISO and 6 x 100s guided exposures on my PhD/ASCOM driven Mead LXD75 autostar mount (and what a champion little mount it is
).
I converted RAW to TIF and combined in Images Plus, but must confess to not really knowing what I'm doing there. I took some darks, but not sure if I used them.
I used curves in Pixel Studio 2.0 to stretch the image.
Warning steep learning curve ahead
