My one regret is not making a sketch
Even the faint extentions with the nobs on the ends were relatively easily seen with averted vision. And they were aircraft runways! One all previous occasions I was straining like hell to see them. The following night I was not able to replicate the view, even though I had other PNs in Sagittarius at nearly 800x. So you can just imagine the seeing during that time!
