Speed wise, its very poor compared to other 'in sensor' phase detect systems.
Normally phase detect AF (which is what has always been used with AF SLRS) is done by separate sensors - Nikon where the first to offer Phase detect built into the imaging sensor, in the 1 series cameras. Its SUPER SUPER quick. Its tracking is outstanding, which is not normally something you get with mirrorless cameras.
There was a lot of hype around Canon offering this sort of tech in the 650D, and EOS-M cameras, but its been universally panned really.
Edit: I just checked Wikipedia - looks like Fuji where the first to offer PDAF built into the sensor!
