I have over the years owned and understood why Takahashi are so good ,,,
it's because they are
.
Anyway , this story is that some fanboy painted a GSO Voyager mount and it being a typical Chinese made great piece of engineering ended up with bad slop in both alt and Az .
Fast forward to a week ago when this sweety arrived , 20 minutes of adjusting and it's like new and owning one of these sweet mounts years ago I learned how to adjust these good mounts properly , here are a few photo of Friday night with the LP 110 f6 APO and tonight's 102mm f10 Achromat ,,, Both on the moon , Jupiter and Saturn and this 102mm achro scope really performs ,, and sits fine on this psudo Tak mount with ease .
Hopefully tomorrow the ED100 will be on mount
.This glass is Tak quality . Like my iStar .
