Thanks for all your comments. In the end I felt guilty putting up just 5.5hrs. So got out the newt and doubled that to 11hrs.
One thing I noticed is a dark ring around each galaxy. Might be a bit hard to seeas I've clipped it a bit. I'm sure its not some visual-psychological phenomenon, what would be the cause?
