With just the 1 ¼ inch filter screwed directly into the camera body, is there sufficient depth to the filter ring to slide into a typical 1 ¼ inch eyepiece fitting?
For my set up, the main reasons for using the 1 ¼ inch nosepiece was to allow the camera to be attached to a 1 ¼ inch eyepiece fitting and keep the filter away from the chip to make any dust spots on the filter out of focus.
I wonder it Peter uses a 2 inch fitting?
