Very nice set up ! .

I knew an older amateur astronomer years ago who did spectograghy and really did some serious work for the professionals , sadly passed now .

Planning on using my Nikon DSLR on the rear of the scope for some imaging for a while and the Nikon P900 on the top dovetail for alternate views. Planning on a Faststar adapter in the not too distant future with a new dedicated camera (ZWO Atick SBIG) still doing my research on those.

In the meantime everything is connected to my notebook and all of the driving is done with Stellarium.

I'm looking at getting a Lhires III spectrograph to do some alternate observations. does anyone have any experience in spectography?
