To be honest, I haven't used the light pollution filter. It came with the modded 40D I bought used. I have used the clip in Ha filter which is identical mount. Performs as I'd expect an Ha filter should.
You're aware they only fit in the crop cameras that can take EF-S lenses eg 40D, 50D etc series and the 400D, 450D, 500D etc series? Not sure what camera you have, but they won't work on full-frame bodies like the 5DII.
