I second the blower brush. Dont touch the CCD if you dont have to. Best and cheapest blower I find is an ear puffer or ear syringe from chemists. The large ones blow out a small hurricane and will dislodge any dust. I cleaned someones 300D at Vic South for them using it and they were very happy. I ve used it to clean all my DSLR's for years.
