Glen, I don't know what I as one 70yr old person was supposed to do.
I agree that perspective does come into it, but having spent quite a lot
of time up close and personal with people living at a subsistence level,
often at 4000m plus altitude, I can assure you that while it may be normal
to them, it is a horrible "normal" that grinds them down, day in, day out,
particularly in Bolivia and Peru[and Mexico].
