I see, I just tried that an hour ago. I very roughly did the Polar Alignment and did a 3-star alignment with SynScan. At the end of that process the message was Alignment successful, and no error as such. Does that my initial polar alignment happened to be accurate? I find that hard to believe, it was very approximate.
I use ZWO ASI224MC with Sharpcap. I believe the paid version of Sharpcap helps you do polar alignment too. How does an imaging software help you improve PA anyway?
