Thankyou to all that replies, plenty to think about, I am still tossing between mono and colour, but leaning more towards mono at this stage. My goal would be to use the scopes for narrow band imaging but also cometary imaging and widefield imaging so having the mono chip may be better for picking up those faint fuzzies.
If anyone has anything else to add please do so, it would be helpful to others with the same ideas.
