My why 10 runs with 0/130 as well. I ran it like that for 2 years with no problems then thought I'd improve on preceperfection by following the guide and increased my gain to around 12 as well. Bright objects were OK,m8 m20 etc, but faint things like ic4604 were washed out and colorless, hence back to 0/130.
PS never had a problem with DSS and my qhy10.
