Classie all-metal construction Nikon 400mm ED AI-S super telephoto lens. Manual internal focus, with 39mm internal filter holder & UV filter, metal screw on lens cap, rear cap. In close to mint condition, superb build quality, built like a tank coming in at 2.8 kilos weight. These lenses have very sharp optics. The lens body is nearly unmarked and the lenses appear to be spotless, apart from a 4mm mark behind the front lens element, likely due to some type of fungal action. Unbeknownst to me this mark was present when I bought the lens from a Japan seller a few years back for over double what I'm selling it for here.. Doesn't affect lens performance at all for me, but am selling at a reduced price due to the mark. Would make a great widefield astro lens. Selling due to lack of use.
