Old C14 tangent arm declination drive

Hi all

I have a vintage Celestron C14 with the original fork mount complete with the DC motor driven tangent arm for declination guiding. I have totally computerised this mount using the DC slow motion motors on both axes intended for guiding to use for remote GOTO functionality. Sort of. It works fine except in declination the range is only about 2.5 degrees either side of the centre position of the tangent arm, which is OK for guiding but not for general slewing. Has anybody heard of a kit that converts the tangent arm mechanics to full motor driven rotation?

Sorry, forgot to mention, I can’t stand German Equatorial GOTO mounts using stepper motors and no independent shaft encoders.
