I have come across an unusual problem with my Lodestar and MaxIm. As per my post on Trying to use an OAG

It is very hard to explain. When I start MaxIm, all is good, connection to all equipment is fine, turn cooler on no worries. If I then start to guide, MaxIm freezes up. I can use all my other programs, but MaxIm stops responding which usually results in a reboot.
I have updated all drivers, changed cables, defragged etc to no avail. The peculiar thing is that with PHD it all works as it is supposed to. SGP seems to work and do what it needs.
The only thing that I can find that seems to be a consistent is that if I try to use the guide graph in MaxIm, that is when it wigs out.
I would appreciate any thoughts any one has to offer.
